About our Client

The client is a leader in their field and provide services to include Mental Health, Neurological, Learning Disabilities & Autism, Children & Education. They have over 70 locations across the UK. This role is to work at a Surrey location who provide a range of secure services for men in medium and low secure environments. You will be working with service users with needs such as complex mental illness, personality disorders, substance misuse issues and challenging behaviour.

The role

You will be a valued member of a nursing team, working as a qualified General Nurse (RN) or experienced Physical Health Nurse. You will ensure young people and adults with acute mental health needs and/or personality disorders receive the highest level of quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork. Every day will be different and present you with different challenges. This will definitely keep you engaged and motivated.

The hours of work are MONDAY – FRIDAY 9-5 (37.5 hours per week)

The salary is £35k per annum and the benefits include:

The ideal candidate:

  • A relevant nursing qualification and registration- NMC pin
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • Strong team-working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
